Firdevs Çalkanoğlu

Firdevs Çalkanoğlu, born in 1978 in Istanbul, graduated from Dumlupınar University Faculty of Business Administration. She attended Calligrapher and marbling artist Fuat Başar attended marbling art classes. Participating at Yılmaz Eneş's workshop in 2008, the artist founded the first workshop in Küçükayasofya in 2008. In 2009, she received marbling art gratification from Fuat Başar.

In 2009, the Prime Ministry General Directorate of foundations Marbling Art Contest entitled "Heaven Tulip" was awarded the third prize with spiral Carnation. She was awarded the Achievement Award for his work called Lilium flower in the marbling Art Contest of State Decorative Arts.

Having participated in many mixed exhibitions in Turkey and abroad and opened to 4 personal exhibitions, Çalkanoğlu continues her marbling art works at his workshop in Emirgan.
