Fatih Municipality Ayvansaray Turkish House
Ayvansaray Turkish Neighborhood, which is located right next to the Tekfur Palace, Anemas Dungeons and Emir Buhari Monastery and has a traditional Ottoman structure, was announced to be a renovation field within the scope of the “Ayvansaray Turkish Neighborhood Urban Regeneration Project” in 2006 in order for saving the wooden houses ruined in the fires and for bringing in this region to the tourism.
These precious buildings of the Turkish architecture reaching present day were renovated without changing their silhouettes and being faithful to their original materials. One Turkish House belonging to the Fatih Municipality here is used as the art center and exhibition area.
