Born in Adapazarı in 1968, Betül Bilgin graduated from the traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department calligraphy and illuminated manuscript workshop of Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1989. In 1991, she graduated from Mimar Sinan University on calligraphy main art branch with her thesis on the historical development and character of Divani writing.
Cafer Aga Madrasah, history and Islamic Research Center, Unity Foundation, Ensar Foundation, Ümraniye Municipality vocational training courses such as calligraphys, illuminated manuscript and the artist who teaches miniature lessons, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation works as a lecturer at the University. The artist, who gives calligraphy, illuminated manuscript and miniature lessons at institutions such as Cafer Ağa Madrasa, History and Islamic Research Center, Birlik Foundation, Ensar Foundation, Ümraniye Municipality Vocational Training Courses, works as a lecturer at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University.
Mrs. Bilgin, who participated in many exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad, continues her solo works at the workshop named Atölyebeduh.
