Born in 1971 in Istanbul, Hande Topbaş completed her Newport behavioral Sciences education after Kadıköy Imam Hatip High School. In childhood, pictures from his mother's Toilet, stories from his grandmother, and his suitcase, waiting for his father to open, guided his artistic development influenced her. At the age of twelve, she took a short illuminated manuscript class from Nilüfer Kurfeyz, whom she met on a summer vacation. She was unable to get rid of the influence of his lessons for years, and 10 years later she started to take the illuminated manuscript lessons from Nilüfer Kurfeyz at the age of 22 on a regular basis. Later, the artist who took the classes of Zehra Durmuş also took the courses of writing from Ali Ural.
Karabatak, Genç, and finally, art and travel writings were published in magazines. The Bird flies through the caravan, in a city's silence, being two books were published. Receiving the ESKADER literature award in the field of travel in 2018, Topbaş continues to work on writing and illuminated manuscript.
