Mehmet Memiş, who was born in Çorum Bayat, graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of theology in 1984 after completing his primary and secondary education in his hometown. He completed his master's Degree in traditional Turkish Arts at Marmara University, and his doctorate in the Department of history of Turkish Islamic Arts at Marmara University in 1998 with a thesis titled “Şanlıurfa Madrasah”. Between 1991and 1993 he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Harran. In 1999, he joined Sakarya University Faculty of Theology as Assistant Professor. The artist, who was a associate professor in 2015, also teaches calligraphy courses at the Faculty of Fine Arts, apart from his / her classes at the Faculty of Theology.
In 1980 Konya Calligrapher Hüseyin Öksüz, also known as Konevi took calligraphy lessons. After he was appointed as a teacher at Kadıköy Atatürk secondary school, he continued his studies with Calligrapher Hasan Çelebi. In 1992, he received gratification from Hüseyin Konevi in the field of gratification-Naskh. Topkapı Palace, where he took the course between 1985 and 1988, taught the calligraphy courses for three years later at the illuminated manuscript course of Turkish ornamentation Arts.
Mehmet Rami, organized 25 exhibitions at Frankfurt, Marburg, Vienna, Tehran, Damascus, Aleppo, Tedmur, Islamabad, Nicosia, Tirana, Bishkek, Brussels, Rome.
