Murat Gür, born in Germany in 1970, graduated from the Department of Business Administration of Dokuz Eylül University. In 1986, he started his photography career by introducing his first camera. He founded the photography Club at the University of DOKUZ Eylül University with his friends. Between 1992and 1993, he served as a reporter at the Izmir Office of Turkish Daily News. He wrote in the Free University newspaper published by the students of Dokuz Eylül University.
Between 2007 and 2015, PhotoWorld led the course as General editorial director and educational Coordinator. He served as a member of the Board of Photography Foundation and photography friends Association, photo editor of THY skylife magazine, photography Department of Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts, photography center of fototrek, photography, video and Cinema lessons in many private institutions. He participated in many exhibitions and panels. He was Art Director at the ZFotoFest International photography Festival.
As freelance photographer, the artist who takes photographs for magazines and participates in many social responsibility projects, is a photography instructor at Zeytinburnu Cultural Center.
