Nihal Tezcan
She was born in Istanbul in 1982. She completed her primary and secondary education in the same city.
Between 2006 and 2008, she attended the illuminated manuscript classes of Saime Rikkat Çelebi at Altunizade Cultural Center.
Between 2008 and 2011, she received a education from Arda Çakmak in the classical Turkish Arts Foundation. She graduated from the classical Turkish Arts Foundation in 2012.
2012-2013 she participated in the miniatures of Berrin Çakın in the specialties section at Ismek Bağlarbaşı.
In 2013, she continued her master's degree education in the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University at GTS Illuminated Manuscript Department.
She continues her studies at the Navy art studio and teaches illuminated manuscript classes.
She has works in various collections both in Turkey and abroad in 2010 at ‘‘face of Istanbul’‘ and 2011 ‘‘Safahat ’‘projects organized by the Classical Turkish Arts foundation.
She received 2nd prize in the category of ‘‘Illuminated manuscript (ornamentation)’‘in the Competition of ‘‘Masters of the future ‘‘Traditional Arts held in Istanbul in 2013,
She received second prize at 10. International ‘‘Al Burda ‘‘competition held in the United Arab Emirates (BAE) in 2012
She received second prize at 14th International ‘‘Al Burda ‘‘ competition held in the United Arab Emirates (BAE) in 2012 with her work called ‘’Zahriye Gilding’’ related to Timur (Herat) period.
