Ömer Faruk Özoğul, who was born in Erzurum in 1968, graduated from the Department of painting and business at the Faculty of Education of Ataturk University Kazım Karabekir in 1996. In 2000, he started writing lessons of David Bektas. In 2005, he received his gratification from Davud Bektas with a ceremony held in IRCICA.
In 2005, Albaraka Türk held the third prize in the field of Celi Gratifications in the calligraphy competition, and in 2007, IRCICA held the seventh prize in the field of Celi Gratification. He was awarded the third prize in Celi Gratifiction in the International calligraphy Competition, The First Prize in the calligraphy competition on the Foundation civilization environment award organized by the General Directorate of foundations in 207, and the Second Prize in the calligraphy competition on the basis of celi Gratifiction in the calligraphy competition organized by Albaraka Türk in 2008. In 2010, the artist who worked for the restoration of Süleymaniye Mosque calligraphy writings participated in many exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. Mr. Özoğul continues his studies at Sabancı maturation Institute.
