Safigül Bengü Olgun, who was born in 1979 in Ordu, completed the illuminated manuscript lessons of Münevver Üçer, which she started in 2005 in 2012. Later, she took lessons in calligraphy, marbling art and Ottoman arts. Since 2005 she has participated in mixed exhibitions organized in Turkey. In 2015, she organized a personal exhibition called “Safigül”. In 2016, she gave lectures on the “mysticism direction of illuminated manuscript art and calligraphy writing” at Balaban cultural house and continues her studies on Illuminated manuscript scripts in her own workshop.
