Yılmaz Eneş

He was born in 1960 in Istanbul. He started his works in 1994. Eneş, drawing unique flowers on marbling, particularly concentrated on rose marbling.

 “Classical Turkish and Islamic Arts Exhibition”, which was held in Istanbul in 1998, “Traditional Turkish Arts Exhibition”, which was opened within the scope of the Eyüp Symposiums in 2000, and his Works partaking in the Exhibition that was taken to Japan and America in 2000, and his dual exhibitions made in France Saint Etienne may be mentioned among the group exhibitions that the artist participated within at home and abroad.

Yılmaz Eneş was deemed worthy of Achievement Award in the Ministry of Culture 10. Turkish Decoration Arts Competition in 1999 with his Rose Marbling.

His students were awarded with Achievement Awards and various Exhibitions in the Ministry of Culture 11., 12. And 13. Turkish Decoration Arts Competition in 2001-2003-2006.

Yılmaz Eneş opened his first solo exhibition in the Taksim Art Gallery in 2003, and he has met with art lovers in his solo and group exhibitions that he maked with his students until today.

He still continues to present his works to the taste of art lovers with group exhibitions.

Eneş gived marbling lectures in the Marbling Club of Koç University and Yıldız Technical University. He still continues to give lectures in the Classical Arts and Zeytinburnu Cultural and Art Center.

The artist continues to work and give lectures, and share his knowledge about the Marbling art with domestic and foreign art lovers in his own workshop located in Istanbul Fatih Kariye.

Yılmaz participated in exhibitions within the country and abroad aiming to introduce the marbling art. His artwork named Piri Reis was included in the Istanbul Naval Museum Collection.  He has appeared as a guest in documentaries broadcasted in domestic and foreign TV channels particularly in TRT.
