Biennial reception teams within Public Relations Office of Fatih Municipality participated in a comprehensive training programme to guide visitors at the 3rd Yeditepe Biennial. While the historical and aesthetic dimensions of Classical Turkish Arts were discussed in the training, this year's theme of the biennial, ‘Where There is Shadow, There must be Light’ was examined in detail.

Yeditepe Biennial presents traditional art branches such as tile work, illumination, calligraphy and miniature to art lovers for the first time in the world. Organised for the third time this year, the biennial brings together outstanding works in the field.

Guides were informed about the cultural and artistic background of the artefacts and received training on communication and presentation techniques in order to provide effective guidance to visitors.

This initiative of Fatih Municipality enables visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Classical Turkish Arts and to closely experience this important event that brings art together with the historical texture of Istanbul.
