Born in 1953 in İnegöl, Adil Can Güven has left 50 years behind in his art life and has progressed in this field with the master-apprentice tradition he learnt from his master Abdurrahman Özer. Güven, who researched the traditional ceramics of Anatolia and produced them with original techniques and materials, has made important contributions to Anatolian tile and ceramic culture. He has been making Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Byzantine, Principalities, Seljuk and Ottoman period tiles and ceramics since the Neolithic Age with his wife Nursan Güven and his sons Rauf Sadi and Cem in their workshop for 35 years.
The artist has many group and solo exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad, and the ceramics they produce are considered as works of art by the Ministry of Culture. Some of these artefacts are exhibited as examples of reconstructions in museums in America, Canada, France and Japan. Güven's special designs are collected with interest by collectors. His last exhibition was an exhibition of traditional Çanakkale ceramics at the Çanakkale Ceramic Museum on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory. The artist continues to work with his family in his workshop in İznik.
