Born in 1992 in Akçakoca, Cafer Coşar discovered his interest in performing arts, electricity and architecture during his childhood. After studying in different schools throughout his education life, he completed primary and secondary school in Istanbul. The basic education he received in the Electrical-Electronics department at Haydarpaşa Anatolian Technical High School constituted the first steps of his career.
After graduating from Marmara University Technical Education Faculty Electrical Technology Department, he decided to carry his interest in performing arts to the professional field. Working on stage lights in various theatres and international events, he closely experienced the effect of light in performing arts. In this process, his interest in historical buildings led him to study Architectural Restoration at Ataşehir Foundation University affiliated to Istanbul University. With the knowledge he gained there, he took part in the restoration works in Topkapı Palace and contributed to the protection of historical buildings.
Coşar, who wanted to expand his knowledge in different fields, graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration and founded his company LightAndTree to carry his curiosity about light and electrical technologies to a professional platform. Currently conducting research on the biological and physiological effects of light, Coşar continues his studies to understand the light at the basis of creation and to discover its effects on human life. According to him, this journey is an adventure of discovery into the depths of light and creation.
