Çelik was born in 1999. Although originally from Gümüşhaneli, he was born and raised in Istanbul.   He completed his secondary education at Beyoğlu Imam Hatip High School in 2018. He started his undergraduate education at Şehir University Faculty of Islamic Sciences and completed it at Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 2023. He continues his master's degree in the field of psychology of religion at Marmara University and speaks Arabic and English at intermediate level.

He is interested in painting, theatre, wrestling and archery. He participated in social activities and trainings organised by various NGOs. Together with young people from different universities and faculties, he was involved in the establishment of the youth formation named "Delta Point" ("Delta Noktası") and published his articles on the internet.  He made significant contributions to the formation of the "Together Art Community" (“Birlikte Sanat Topluluğu”) with painter Cemal Toy and his students.
