The artist was born in Istanbul in 1985 and completed her primary education in this city. After graduating from Sabahattin Zaim University Preschool Department, the elegant and aesthetic form of the writings she encountered in manuscripts formed the beginning of the artist's writing adventure. In 2001, she stepped into the art of calligraphy by receiving Ruqah training from Calligrapher Rümeysa Hanım. In 2006, she took naskh and thuluth lessons from Aydın Ergün and continued her training by learning Jali Diwani writing with him in 2011.

The artist participated in many group exhibitions and projects. The artist, who is familiar with classical calligraphy, aims to bring the art of calligraphy into a contemporary form. Since 2019, the artist started to learn the art of calligraphy with Ermah Yücel and continues to be interested in every form of writing. Her own workshop where she produces her works and continues her training is located in Balat.
