The artist was born in Sakarya in 1974 and graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Sociology. In 2004, she continued her paper marbling training with Gülseher Kahraman for three years. In 2005, she started to take illumination classes from Ümmü Gülsüm Terzi and in 2011 she joined Ayşe Kiraz's quilling (katı') classes. In 2017, she started quilling (katı') lessons from Safiye Morçay at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation and was entitled to graduate. She still continues her studies in the field of quilling with her teacher Safiye Morçay.
Between 2018-2019, she taught quilling at Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, Traditional Arts Specialisation Centre. Her works in paper marbling, illumination and quilling branches were exhibited in many group exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad. In 2015, she received the incentive award in the quilling branch in the "International 7 Hills 7 Arts" competition organised by the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation. In 2017, she won the third prize in the quilling branch in the same competition and in 2018, she was awarded the first prize in the quilling branch in the "Masters of the Future" Traditional Arts Design Competition.
Today, she continues to work as an assistant to her teacher Safiye Morçay at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation, producing works in both illumination and quilling.
