Born in 1996 in Istanbul, Meryem Aktaş started to take Islamic Calligraphy lessons from Calligrapher Tahsin Kurt in 2017. In 2020, she received education from Calligrapher Davut Bektaş and Calligrapher Ali Toy in the field of Islamic Calligraphy at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts; she graduated from Bookbinder İslam Seçen and Bookbinder Melike Kazaz in the field of bookbinding.

She continues her master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Turkish Arts Design. She participated in the exhibitions of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University and Yıldız Technical University.
