Muhammed Arif Aksu

Born in Konya in 1999, Aksu graduated from Marmara University’s Department of Architecture in 2023. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Urban Design at Istanbul Technical University.

Aksu began his professional career with various internships, working at prominent firms such as Ak Mimarlık, Kayabay Mimarlık, and Atölye Lokal Mimarlık. Following these experiences, he served as an architect at Vegaden and is now working as an assistant architect at both Istanbul Bilgi University and the Yeditepe Biennial.

In 2019, Aksu received an Honorable Mention Award in the TİM Natural Stone Design Competition. He approaches his projects with an innovative design philosophy and a principle of harmony with the natural environment. His architectural works emphasize urban fabric, environmental integration, and spaces that support social life.

His interest in art and volunteer work plays a significant role in his personal development. During his high school years, Aksu participated in art workshops and received painting training from artists Enes Sağdıç and Erdoğan Paksoy at Artika Art Studio. In 2019, he joined the AIESEC Marrakech project, interacting with different cultures and enhancing his versatility.
