He was born in 1969 in Kastamonu. He started his miniature art by taking lessons from Meral Aşan in 2008 and continued his artistic journey by taking lessons from various instructors until 2015. In 2015, miniature artist Leyla Kara, whom he met by chance, made an important contribution to his journey by giving him a new artistic perspective. He gave lectures at Sakarya Traditional Arts Specialisation Centre and Sertarikzade Cultural Centre of Eyüpsultan Municipality.

The artist participated in many national exhibitions, won awards in various competitions and took part in many projects to make miniature art more visible. In March 2020, he opened his first solo exhibition titled "YOL" (ROUTE) at Vehbi Koç Foundation Ford Otosan Gölcük Culture and Social Life Centre. The artist, who is currently teaching at the City Art Academy of Traditional and Visual Arts affiliated to Başakşehir Municipality, continues his works in his home where he finds peace.
