She was born in 1974 in Istanbul. She graduated from Bakırköy Imam Hatip High School in 1992. She took illumination classes from Zehra Durmuş between 2005-2008, received training from Nilüfer Kurfeyz at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation in 2009 and continued her studies with Kevser İbrahimoğlu between 2010-2017. Since 2015, she continues to work with Hande Topbaş.
