Born in Istanbul in 1982, she received illumination education from Saime Rikkat Çelebi at Altunizade Cultural Centre between 2006-2008 and Arda Çakmak at Classical Turkish Arts Foundation between 2008-2011. She graduated from the Foundation in 2012. Her works were exhibited in the ‘Face of Istanbul’ ('İstanbul'un Yüzü') project in 2010 and ‘Phases’ (Safahat) project in 2011 of the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation.
The artist, who took miniature lessons from Berrin Çakin Güç in ISMEK Bağlarbaşı Specialised Department in 2012-2013, was awarded the second prize with her zahriya illumination in the International ‘10th Al Burda’ competition held in the UAE in 2012. In 2013, she started her master's degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, Major Art of Illumination programme. In this process, she received training from Prof. Faruk Taşkale, Prof. Münevver Üçer and Prof. Muhittin Serin. In the same year, she won the second prize in illumination branch in the ‘Masters of the Future’ ('Geleceğin Ustaları') competition. In 2016, she won the second prize again in the ‘14th Al Burda’ competition in the UAE.
In 2021, she completed her thesis analysing a work from the Safavid period. In 2022, she organised workshops at the Islamic Art Festival Sharjah. The artist, who continues her Proficiency in Art education, works at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation and Laciverd Art Workshop and gives illumination classes. Her works are included in collections in Türkiye and abroad.
