She was born in 1973 in Istanbul. She completed her secondary and high school education at the French High School Pierre Loti in Istanbul. She decided to do her higher education in illumination in order to develop her detailed drawing, pattern and colouring skills discovered at an early age. In 1999, she graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department and opened her first solo exhibition in the same year. More than 500 illumination works have been exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions and found a place in various collections in Türkiye and abroad.

Over time, she developed a new project with a modern approach by combining her knowledge in traditional arts with the art of under glass. Her works of this nature are in the collections of many art lovers in Türkiye and abroad.
