Born in 1971 in Ankara, Serap Onur completed her graphic design education at Gazi Faculty of Education between 1990-1994 with a degree. After her experience in advertising agencies, she preferred a life full of art and established her own workshop. Over the years, she continued to pursue her dreams by embarking on an interdisciplinary journey in different art branches and constantly improving herself. In this process, each new stop enriched her artistic identity and nourished her creativity. Onur, who blends her experiences with classical miniature techniques and chooses to reveal her own fantastic imaginary approach with the naive structure of miniature in her works, tries to reveal a different point of view.

She has also trained many students and has made it one of her main goals to contribute to the mission of intangible heritage bearer. 

Onur, who has received many awards for her achievements and participated in many individual and group exhibitions, continues to shape her own expression with artistic originality and intellectual depth in her life dedicated to her art and her students.
