Fatih Özkafa, who came to the world in 1974 in Konya, began to receive Calligraphy lessons from Calligrapher Hussein Öksüz in 1994. In 1996, he graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration. In 2002 he received gratification from Hüseyin Öksüz (Konevi) in the field of Gratifiction- Naskh, Divanî, Celi Divanî and Ta'lik writings.
In 2005, he was appointed as research assistant to Selçuk University Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Department. He completed his doctorate in Art History in 2008. In 2009, Assistant Professor received the title of Associate Professor in 2013. he participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, symposia and congresses.
He won 5 awards from International competitions organized by IRCICA and Albaraka Türk from various Calligraphy genres such as Gratifiction, Celi Ta'lik and Muhakkak. He served as a jury membership in some competitions. In the International Holy Quran Projects held in Dubai on the month of Ramadan, he won various Calligraphy types such as Naskh, Gratifiction- Naskh, Muhakkak-Gratifiction-Naskh and Muhakkak-Reyhani, Gratifiction- fine gratification at a total of 6 branches. He is curatorial in some art projects and editor in some book projects.
He was appointed to the Department of Islamic History and Arts of Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 2016. In the same year he started his career as Calligraphy at Albaraka Art Academy and Classical Arts. In 2017, he was appointed as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey National Palaces Consultants Committee. He taught at the Calligraphy Club at the Classical Turkish Arts Center. Mr. Özkafa, who continues his academic studies, continues to study on classic and modern calligraphy works.
