Songül Sümen Ak

She was born in Şişli, Istanbul in 1981, and graduated from Eyüp Imam Hatip high school in 2001. She attended Hatice Aksu's illuminated manuscript classes. She worked with her teacher Hatice Aksu at the Nakkaş Rumi Rosary Workshop between the years 2004-2006. In 2006, she received an illuminated manuscript certificate. She also started her miniatures at Orhan Dağlı in İSMEK in the same year. In 2008, the illuminated manuscript and started having lessons with Orhan Dağlı, the artist received gratification by completing training in 2014.

In 2013, she graduated from Kocaeli University Department of ceramics, glass and tile, then started the Business Administration Department of Anadolu University, Faculty of Education and completed her education here in 2015. The artist who interned at the Camhane and Grand National palaces Yıldız tile Porcelain, participated in many mixed exhibitions. Mrs. Ak is married and has two children.
